Just a quick update show to recap all the breaking news from this week before the NFL draft (which was not this past weekend, as we thought it was).

On this episode: Ricky Williams takes another year off, Brett Favre signs up for another year, and the Whizzinator gets retired, permanently.

Despite some claims that were slightly more credible than previously, Ricky Williams has reportedly lost his appeal of his alleged violation of the NFL's drug policy. Since this was his fourth violation, he will be suspended for the entirety of the 2006 season, and can be reinstated at this time next year.

Obviously, this sends Ronnie Brown's fantasy value through the roof. Brown was excellent last year in a running back by committee situation, and can only benefit from the extra touches. The Dolphins still have Sammy Morris and Travis Minor on the depth chart, but neither is a serious threat to steal a significant number of carries from Brown.

Just a couple of loose ends left to tie up before the NFL draft hits and we all go completely insane. On this episode: The Bills overpay for Peerless Price, what effect McNair's banishment from the Titans' training facility could have on the draft, and we try to help a listener decide who to keep for the upcoming season.

Assuming his offensive line gives him more than three seconds to throw the ball this year, David Carr should have some great targets. Eric Moulds finalized his contract with the Texans this week, for $14 million over 4 years and a $5 mil signing bonus.

Question now is will Carr also be able to throw to/hand off to Reggie Bush, who the Texans are eyeing with the first pick in the draft.

Listen to this week's show for more on the fantasy impact of the Moulds deal.
